Overview

CoTA is a low cost standard created to operate on CKB with a 1 time fee to register a Cell. Users who wish to interact with any assets on the protocol must have a CoTA Cell registered with the CoTA Registry.

Your CoTA Cell can be seen as your wallet on the CoTA Protocol. Every interaction you do will run through your Cell and update the Output Data as well as generating Witness data.

CoTA Registry

CoTA requires every user to have a registered CoTA Cell to interact with assets on the protocol. This registration is done through the CoTA Registry, which involves a one-time deposit of 150 CKB. For detailed information on the registration process, please refer to the CoTA Registry Documentation.

CoTA Data
